Welcome!

San Marcos Unified School District complements its new website with a new website for Richland Elementary School. Our school, the oldest in the district, celebrates as it enters its 60th year serving students in our community.  Richland Elementary School will house 848 students with over 100 teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff and offers the best in education for our children.

The Richland Staff wants to welcome you to a new school year and a brand new web space for the Richland community. San Marcos Unified School District replaces its decade-plus-old website with a new web and Learning platform that will bring our schools, students, and teachers to the forefront of the 21st century.

The Richland staff believes that it is our responsibility to teach a rigorous and relevant curriculum to all students in a close partnership between home, school and the community.
