    • We have a new Ident-a-kid Sign in program! Our system has been upgraded to a more efficient system!  However you WILL need to bring your driver’s license EVERY TIME.  Thank you for your cooperation to keep our kids safe!

       

    • Volunteers are needed for an amazing STEAM event! World Oceans Day is Monday, June 10 and our STEAM program will be celebrating with many ocean education activities for the students. We need 6-12 volunteers to help between 9:15-12:30. Please contact Kjerstie Bourne if you would like to help [email protected]

       

    • Grad Walk Decorating Volunteers Needed! On Monday, June 10, we need a team of decorators to help from 12-1:30 pm to hang up some beautiful decorations for the second annual "Grad Walk" that will be held on campus at Richland.   • Student Council students will be selling frozen juice bars for $1 in front of the school on Wednesdays after school. .  Money earned will be used toward purchasing a legacy project of soccer goals and equipment for Richland. Thank you for participating in this sweet treat!

     

  • ANNUAL INFORMATION VERIFICATION 2019-2020    Annual Information Verification MUST be done by the parent on these dates in order to be placed in a class for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have any questions please call the office at: (760)290-2400. What you will need:

    PLEASE NOTE CHANGE THIS YEAR FOR Annual Information Verification.  We will NOT be completing Residency Verification until August. They will be in the following days:

    Wednesday, August 7th: A – L (alphabetically by LAST NAME) 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    Thursday, August 8th:   M -  Z (alphabetically by LAST NAME) 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

     

     

  • Not returning to Richland? Please take a moment to complete the Non Return Form that went home in Wednesday envelopes. Feel free to call if you have any questions. Please return this form to your teacher or the office ONLY IF YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING RICHLAND SCHOOL NEXT YEAR.

  • Did you forget to order your yearbook earlier this year? Come to our end of year movie night & yearbook signing event on Friday, June 7 to pick up a copy! They will be on sale for $25 (cash or check only) and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. We will also have all preordered yearbooks available for early distribution!

  • Monday June 10th  School Wide end of the Year STEAM event -  Richland is celebrating World Oceans Day. STEAM News

  • Thank you parents and community volunteers for the amazing STEAM year!  The students had a great time learning by a hands on model.  STEAM is possible because of your support.  Thank You!!!

 

 

Makerspace Update: 

5th grade is heading to the makerspace the next two weeks.  They will be creating a labyrinth or marble maze.  The maze will have a theme of something they learned while in class at Richland.    The students will showcase their building and engineering abilities while also being creative & applying learned material.
